Beth El Aleph Preschool is part of Beth El Synagogue, which is an inclusive faith-based community founded on Conservative Jewish laws and values. The preschool uses the Beth El Aleph Preschool building and parking lot for its activities.
• Schedule: Office Hours Monday – Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
The program’s leadership team includes Director Sara Confeld and Assistant Director Jane Andersen-Flam. Affiliated clergy are Rabbi Alexander Davis, Rabbi Matt Goldberg, and Rabbi Julie Schwarzwald. Beth El Synagogue is affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. Members of the broader synagogue community are aligned with a desire to be part of a synagogue community dedicated to Jewish learning, spirituality, and tikkun olam – repairing the world.
Beth El describes itself as a home where Judaism is lived, community is family, learning inspires action, prayer touches the heart, and deeds repair the world. Membership at Beth El is not viewed through a financial lens and members are not required to pay dues. Participants are asked to consider making a voluntary gift of tzedakah (charitable donation) that comes from the heart, rather than an assessed fee or obligation.
